Sex Ed in Nebraska is “Pandora’s Box”

Legislators in Nebraska are considering whether incorporating comprehensive sexuality education might be better for their students. The reasons cited are primarily based in improved achievement due to reduced unplanned pregnancy, illness, and bullying. There is pushback from conservatives, who liken abstinence-only sex ed to a salad and comprehensive sex ed to a donut.

South Carolina Follows Texas And Ohio In Using Complex Rules
To Shut Down Abortion Providers

There is debate over whether the suspensions of two Planned Parenthood clinics in South Carolina are politically motivated or not. The clinics were found to be 100% in compliance with state law less than one year ago. If they are not found to be in compliance by September 28, they will be closed.
