Kurt Conklin, MPH, MCHES
Director of Programs | SIECUS
On what project in sex ed are you currently working?
I am helping to plan two TISHEs (Training Institutes in Sexual Health Education) that will take place this summer in North Carolina and Maryland. I am so excited to work with Answer, the main sponsor, and my other sexuality education colleagues who will make up the core training staffs!

Kurt Conklin, MPH, MCHES, is the Director of Programs at SIECUS (Sexuality Information and Education Council of the U.S.).  He has provides sexuality education training and technical assistance to professionals across the nation, including such places as Bismarck, ND, Montgomery AL, Albuquerque, NM, and his current home city of New York. A member of the editorial advisory board of the American Journal of Sexuality Education, he began his career with Planned Parenthood Southeastern Pennsylvania in 1992. Kurt loves the outdoors, commutes to lower Manhattan by bicycle from his home in Queens, and as a college Spanish major at the age of 21 he walked the 600-mile Camino de Santiago across northern Spain.
